Abstract: In the era of the global digital economy, the competition facing enterprises has evolved beyond products, technologies, and capital to include trust and governance capabilities. An increasing number of companies have realized that the biggest barrier to entering international markets is not the lack of product excellence, but rather how to earn the trust of customers, partners, investors, and regulators. For enterprises aspiring to integrate into global supply chains, governance capability is becoming as crucial a core competency as technological prowess. At the same time, the international regulatory landscape continues to evolve. Issues such as cross-border data flows, AI applications, cybersecurity, and algorithmic accountability are reshaping global business rules. Driven by risk management considerations, large multinational corporations and institutions are placing greater emphasis on supply chain governance, third‑party risk management, and corporate transparency. Furthermore, the pace of AI development far outstrips the evolution of laws and regulatory frameworks. Striking a balance between innovation and governance has become a major challenge for businesses, governments, and academia.Addressing these issues, this report draws on cutting‑edge research and practical case studies in digital governance, AI governance, and corporate internationalization. It explores the mechanisms of trust formation in the digital age, the governance logic within global supply chains, and pathways for building corporate trustworthiness. The discussion goes further to examine how external institutional constraints can be transformed into organizational capabilities, and how risk management can be turned into a competitive advantage – thereby helping enterprises enhance their recognition in international markets, strengthen global cooperation capabilities, and achieve high‑quality global expansion and sustainable development.
