On June 22, 2024, the first "Wuhan-Xi 'an Twin Cities Finance Forum" was successfully held in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. The forum was jointly held by the School of Finance of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and the Innovation and Introduction Base of Digital Technology and Modern Financial Discipline, aiming to respond to the national strategy of strengthening financial power, strengthen financial academic exchanges between Wuhan and Xi 'an, and promote the high-quality development of financial discipline in the central and western regions. Financial scholars from eight universities in Wuhan and Xi 'an gathered by Xiaonan Lake to conduct extensive and in-depth exchanges on the construction of financial disciplines and financial academic research.

At the opening ceremony, Professor Yongbin Lv, deputy dean of the School of Finance of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and deputy director of the Innovation and Introduction Base of Digital Technology and Modern Finance Discipline, delivered an enthusiastic speech on behalf of Wuhan universities. He expressed warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the leaders, guests and scholars participating in the forum, and briefly introduced the development course and discipline construction of the School of Finance of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
