The 2^nd Academic Luncheon of the Digital Technology and Finance

Abstract:

As data becomes an emerging factor of production, the market-based allocation of data factors has become an important national development strategy. In China, starting from the Guiyang Big Data Exchange, data transactions have been attempted, but the relevant legal rules are still lacking. Based on the current status of data transactions at home and abroad, this lecture will briefly analyze the basic models and existing problems of data transactions, and conduct preliminary discussions on the development direction of future data transactions.

Speaker Introduction:

Hao Li, Bachelor of Laws from Peking University, Master of Laws in Civil and Commercial Laws, Doctor of Laws in Civil and Commercial Laws from Tsinghua University, postdoctoral fellow of Institute of Law, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Law School of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He used to be the Deputy Dean of the Advanced Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Beihang University, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Law School of Beihang University. He also is a visiting scholar at the University of Munich, Germany, the University of Münster, and the European Institute of Damages Law of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
