On the afternoon of April 29, 2022, Professor Wei Lu, Dean of the School of Information Management of Wuhan University and Distinguished Professor of "Yangtze River Scholars", was invited to participate in the sixth Frontier Forum for Digital Technology and Finance. He delivered a lecture with the theme of "Research for Intelligent Content Review". The forum was presided over by Professor Dawei Jin, Dean of the School of Information and Safety Engineering and Co-Director of the Innovation and Talent Base for Digital Technology and Finance. Researchers of the Base attended the lecture.
First of all, Professor Dawei Jin briefly introduced Professor Wei Lu's research field and academic achievements. Professor Wei Lu is currently the Dean of the School of Information Management and the Director of Information Retrieval and Knowledge Mining Laboratory, Wuhan University. He has visited and conducted postdoctoral research in the United Kingdom, Denmark, the Netherlands, and the United States, and has published more than 100 papers, including more than 50 papers on SSCI/SCI/EI.
Subsequently, Professor Lu explained the theme of intelligent content review from four aspects, namely, research background, text review for metaphors, novel review based on reading behavior of users, and product review based on searching habits of users.
For the convenience of interpretation, Professor Lu briefly summarized his research results at the end of the lecture. The summary mainly consists of three aspects: the intensive reading model, the joint learning model for content and human attention, and the Berrypicking tree model.
Thanks to Professor Wei Lu’s presentation on the frontier knowledge of intelligent content review, the participants had a deeper understanding of this research area. At this point, the meeting was successfully concluded.

To explore the development direction of the cross-integration of digital technology and finance, the Innovation and Talent Base for Digital Technology and Finance is hosting the “Frontier Forum for Digital Technology and Finance”, in collaboration with the School of Finance, Wenlan School of Business, Economics School, School of Information and Safety Engineering, School of Statistics and Mathematics, School of Public Finance and Taxation of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL). This lecture series will invite the well-known scholars at home and abroad in digital technology, digital economy, digital finance, and other related fields as guest speakers, providing an open and cutting-edge academic exchange platform for interdisciplinary research on digital technology and finance.
