Zhang Chuanhai is a lecturer of finance at the School of Finance, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a member of the joint PhD Training Program between Xiamen University and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His research interests are in the areas of financial markets, financial econometrics, financial risk management, and Fintech and big data. He has published papers on in the Journal of Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Economic Research Journal (in Chinese) and Systems Engineering --- Theory & Practice (in Chinese). He received his PhD in Economics from Xiamen University in 2016.
